Winter full-ice season

District Broomball plays on Tuesday nights at Tucker Road Ice Rink in Fort Washington, Md., just a few minutes from the Wilson Bridge. There will be at least four teams this winter and as many as five.

The league is co-rec, competitive and social. Everybody wants to win, but it’s about fun more than anything else. We have a wide age range too – from 18 to 60+. Tall, short, skinny, heavy –  we take all kinds. Even slow people like me.

Games this season start at 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. – a bit late, so maybe take nap beforehand. It’s worth it.

Look forward to Tuesday by registering

  • Schedule: Tuesdays at 9:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m. beginning December 2, 2025
  • Cost: $120 for returning players, $90 for first timers – that’s a 25% discount!

Location

Tucker Road Ice Rink, reopened in 2021, is located just minutes from the Capital Beltway (I-95/495) and the Wilson Bridge. Parking is plentiful and car pools are often available.
