ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS SEVEN YES VOTES
The moment of truth is upon us (we think). The second council vote is scheduled for today. Cropp ‘Positive’ Before Vote Today
MLB has offered more community benefits and opened up a few things in the deal. Linda Cropp is leaning in the direction of yes.
Ballpark approval coming today – The Wash. Times
Many more details about why Cropp will likely support the funding legislation today. Some of them are problematic, but hopefully, they will not be triggered. Read on and you will see what I mean. The one that gets me is the lower figure for moving the location of the ballpark. While it would cost more to build a park in SE than at RFK, the uspide is much higher, since developing the RFK area is a non-starter. Also, there are death threats to council members (and their families) who vote for the ballpark.
Tony Kornheiser – Swing for the Fences, Jim – The Post

Nats’ lineup basically set – The Wash. Times
A run-down of the lineup we can expect to see in April. I am not convinced this is it, Bowden has plenty of time to reshape it just because he can.
